Anybody have any reccomendations around the several types of spiral slicers around inside the $20-$40 array? I surprise which will be best and notice three diverse models. Positive do not desire to dislike what I get and need to acquire another but I desire effortless veg noodles.

John Kohler, the founding father of this community, has assembled an evaluation information of the major forms of spiral slicers and the good qualities and cons. I possess three of these (except the eco-friendly Benriner straight slicer) and just like the Brieftons spiral slicer - the most effective. A lot of alternatives at diverse price-points.

Paul: That instrument is finished $100! Anyone asked for anything between $20-40--quite a big difference. I've the spirooli but haven't used it yet. I settled about $32 because of it, not the things they say on that chart. Relating to on line investigation, I discovered that a lot of individuals who have the Spirooli and the Brieftons spiralizer like the latter should they needed to choose.

You equally were a help, appreciate you!

I feel I'll end-up using the Brieftons slicer. I do not like that it leaves a core, but I'm sure involving the 3 folks some body can chow along on that remaining. Seems like an amount I'm more comfortable with.

Thanks for that chart, it certainly helped to view all the top features of the 4 forms of spiral slicers laid-out thus basically.

BW,

The key level of my reply was showing the evaluation data to her. I basically stated that I liked the Tsumapuro ($90 btw, not over $100) as it was around the data. I do believe the data John has assembled does the most effective career of researching characteristics. I like them both while they do different jobs and have both the Spriooli and the Saladacco. The Saladacco is way better, If you would like fantastic angel hair veggie spirals. The Spirooli features a larger array of cuts. You can find trade-offs.

I must also mention that when I were buying today, predicated on John's data, I'd choose the Brieftons vegetable spiralizer http://www.amazon.com/Brieftons-Spiral-Slicer-Stainless-Spiralizer/dp/B00CBVCVLM. It's all of the features of the Saladacco with 4 diverse sizes including Angel Hair also leaner when compared to a Saladacco. So you arrive at employ seriousness while you make your noodles and it's straight. And at $49.99 (above her value BW, however, not by considerably), maybe that's why it's usually the one Brieftons spiral slicer available now on Edina's site. [2-15-11]. Luckily, it's nonetheless offered by the exact same value through other distributors to wit [ www.cutleryandmore.com ]. That is an illustration. Utilize the search words: vertical slicer and you ought to have the most readily useful value. I'm maybe not planning to obtain a last slicer. Three will do thank-you. But when I were to start out from scratch, this might function as one.

ultimate responses around the Benriner, it's a carbon-copy of a vanished spiral cut created by Lurch ( an organization in Germany, and the Adams Family butler, j/k). The layout just like the Spirooli had the suction-cup legs, somthing that didn't bring for the Benriner Vertical. A layout downside. whoops, started using it. It absolutely was termed the 'Spiralo' created by Lurch. [ www.snoqualmiecasinoproject.com ]. The Benriner is really a Spiralo backup minus the suction cups tongue sticking out smiley [comment, the Spiralo didn't possess the hair 1 millimeter slice the existing Benriner does, I'd choose the suction cups for stability] No issue. The Spiralo is overlooked.
